CNC-setting gems are much more secure.
CNC (Computer Numerical Control) setting was first invented by the luxury watch company to produce a multiple tiny stone setting with a more secure and very high precision way. CNC is perfect for high-end jewelry with a lot of tiny gemstones and has the advantage of being able to set on curved surfaces.
Implant grade titanium CNC setting jewelry consists of a lot of tiny gemstones attached to the jewelry by droplets of liquid titanium. As a result, gemstones are much more securely attached to the jewelry than traditional hand prong-setting.
What is G23 Titanium?
G23 solid titanium is by far the top choice for body piercings and can be safely used for initial piercings. Implant grade titanium G23 (Ti-6Al-4V-ELI, Certified ASTM F136) is the material used in surgical implants, is biocompatible (friendly with your body), much lighter than surgical steel, resistant to body fluids and 100% nickel-free.
What is PVD color coating?
PVD, or Physical Vapor Deposition, is a vacuum coating process that produces a brilliant decorative and functional color finish. PVD utilizes a titanium nitride that provides an extremely durable nickel-free color coating. PVD coatings are more resistant to corrosion from sweat and regular wear than gold plating or anodizing.
Advantages of PVD Coating
Durability
Corrosion resistant
Much longer lifetime than gold plating or anodizing
PVD coatings are about 10 times thicker than standard gold plating
How To Open and Close:
It pops open and snaps closed by fingers, it holds strong enough to not open on its own but isn't too hard To open.
To Open:
Find the segment of the ring right before the little hinge and pull it up.
